Bam. Yeah great. You can't get into tombs if you haven't allready been before. It is just natural for longtime players to lose interest in tombs. But with the current blocking of newer players you are killing your own income of fresh players and teams.
The Tombs are getting deserted this way but i doubt people will change.
I know of a few friends of mine who gave up trying to do tombs just because everyone expected them to be Rank 6 and higher.

I agree with this.. nothing is worse than going in with a rank N/A team speakless character and hearing " Looking for W w/ TS rank 3 only"

Our guild also quit playing in tombs..
Going up agaisnt the same team over and over again is quite boring..
Hmm..this is the same reason why I quit MTG when The Mirrodin block came out..

The desire not to drop a few hundred dollars per expansion was a better reason to quit mtg.

School people. Pure and simple. Agrivated by the fact that it takes a lot of time to prepare and play HoH.
Several guilds I know have their members not playing as often and at late nights because of school. One of our officers can't log on because he just entered college and needs time to get settled in.
Ask some of the guilds. They wiill tell you that many members are not as active (especially in HS/college age level).

It seems that more and more idiots are playing in tombs, which creates a huge divide between the guilds playing and the PuGs from hell. I guess I just get bad luck or something with these groups. However, there is little to no activity during the day anymore. I can no longer test out my builds and see how they work with a dedicated group. This is killing new strategies that could pop-up because everyone wants to play Standard of the Day and will not play anything but.

Hmmmm, the last few pugs ive been in have actually had varying degrees of success, but now I think about it the reason is because the teams we face are godawful. A lot didnt even have monks, which while technically possible and somewhat original seems a little outlandish.

Last groups actually did all the ordinary things: questioning about skillbars, trying out combinations, rearranging group-order etc. etc. This will sound like ubern00b, but it actually was an eye-opener for me to see that this happens with PUG's as well.
Some guilds (like my own) have too many different timezones and/or ppl going back to school to make their own Tombs-group. That's why I have to play with PUG's mainly, which can be a pleasant surprise at some times.

Thanks for the input, but seriously, the next person who brings up TS vs Vent will get a virtual size 10 up their virtual rear end.
Have a nice day
